Chatsworth, CA, October 6, 2000 – Formosa today announces the newest addition to its LDP industrial display monitor product family, the LDP-15.
LDP-15 offers the latest in LCD display technology. In order to meet the demand for high quality and high-resolution display in the industrial environment, the LDP-15 is equipped with 15.1” active TFT LCD running at 1024x768 XGA resolution. It offers superb brightness and contract ratio to ensure quality display, and it is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows 98/NT/2000 operating systems.
The LDP-15 is designed to operate reliably in wide variety of environments, so it can be easily wall-mounted, panel-mounted, or just plain stand-alone by utilizing the accompanying mounting accessories. Its NEMA-4/12 front aluminum alloy bezel not only ensures reliable operation in demanding environments by protecting the unit from water and dirt intrusion, but also provides long-lasting protection against long-term wear and tear.
For convenience, its front sealed door houses a COM Serial (RS-232) port and Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports for easy external peripheral connections as well as a complete set of on-screen display adjustments. An optional high definition resistive touchscreen is offered for user requiring keyboard-less operation.
The LDP-15 is FCC (Class A) and CE certified.
The suggested retail price for LDP-15 starts at $2,300 for single piece. Quantity and reseller pricing are available upon request. This product is available starting October 1, 2000.
